Do pepermint shrimp eat feather dusters?

I bought two pepermint shrimp yesterday to try and do something about the colony of glass anenomies that are sprouting up everywhere in my tank.

The new 55 gallon tank I have is ready for coral and I have put nothing in there but a variety of snails and the two shrimp in the past 4 weeks.

Anyway, there is a feather duster [that came with the rock, not one that I purchased] that grew to the size of a nickle. The Shrimp looked like it was cleaning it and the worm extended about an inch from its tube then back in. I thought that it was being cleaned until I have not seen it since!

I really dont care if it is gone, it was not something I am worried about, I am just curious if the shrimp cleans feather dusters or if it had a good meal? Maybe it 'pulled it out!'

i dont think so but i have seen stranger things happen..
