Did you post this on purpose just to scare all the people who recently posted pictures of their new Entacmaea quadricolor anemone? Bad zhenya!

P.S. -- For anyone who isn't familiar with that tank, it's a 110-gal tank. The Rose Bubble Tip Anemones in that tank started out as one little anemone a couple of years ago. It has turned into more than three dozen clones and that's in spite of the fact that zhenya has removed several of them.
I like to refer to it as "the anemone that ate zhenya's tank!"

Gene, as always the tank looks great. In spite of the joking I know you love what most would see as a plague. It's beautiful.

I still think Zhenya is secretly feeding the yellow tang Xanax so the thing doesn't stress out from all the tenticles!

Thanks Chuck! You are right, of course. It was my personal choice to let this happen eventually, I could've just as well remove first few clones and keep the corals instead. However I chose to go get another tank (75g) so I could keep corals in it. I never knew I would fall for the sps corals, otherwise I would have switched everything around.
My tang in this tank will be 9 years old this summer, I raised him from the baby stage...literally.![]()

Wow! That is so amazing! Are there any clowns in there somewhere?
I've been wanting an anemone but with the disaster that occured last year in my tank, I'll pass. It may not have happened if it wasn't sick when it went into my tank in the first place but it was sick and died and got caught in the powerhead while I was sleepingI was a ritteri, started in my daughter's tank which had the wrong lighting
Anyways more pics would be nice...![]()

Click my avatar to see my tank, it's getting so perdy!!
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him all weekend.

I am sorry about your ritteri anemone...those are one of the most difficult to keep anemones in captivity. Probably right after gigantea in that category.
Kind regards,
Gene.
