DO NOT GET A CLOWN TANG!!!!! i had one with a purple tang and people on this board said it would beat up the other fish i did not list but i did watch him terrorize my purple tang to almost death i removed the clown tang in time to save my purple tang. they are suppose to be hard fish to keep but mine ate like a pig and grow fast in the short time i had him. they are pretty fish but don't buy one if you have another tang cause he will kill him.

Clown Tangs get VERY large (up to 18") and aggresive and should not be considered for anything except a large 8 foot tank IMO.
I recently puchased a 10' tank with the anticipation of housing a clown tang and am hoping that with that large of a tank that it will be able to have a few roommates. I honestly feel that it might outgrow my 10' tank in a few years, but will attempt it and let others know my success or failure. FWIW, Nathan |

Though I couldnt get you site to load, I take it you have a 75g?
I cant imagine having another tang in with my 4" sailfin and no way is a 75 big enough for a clown, or a Sohal(my dream tang) I will adopt mine out if I dont get the 180 up in the next year ![]() |
