Frogspwan help please!!

Does anyone know how frogspawn mutioles or grows?? we have frog spawn and it has what looks like some alge groth on its skelaton. or at least I think it's a skeleton?? other than that it looks wuite heathy. but how does it grow? will it grow new branchs??

Captive reproduction of most Euphyllia species is by budding of daughter colonies around the base of the parent or by separation of a colony from the living tissue edge around the septa. Sexual reproduction occurs in the wild but is rare in captivity.

As you may or may not already know, frogspawn corals are notorious for their sweeper tentacles. A sweeper tentacle is a regular tentacle that is modified for warfare. It can stretch 6" to 8" longer than the other tentacles and it packs more powerful nematocysts. Don't place a frogspawn too close to other corals. The frogspawn might kill them.

Yep... and if you want it to grow faster, healthy tank parameters and regular feeding should help.
