Zoas not opening

hey i just bought a 3 polyp zoo frag offline and put it in my tank. acclimated right... only thing is it hasnt opened yet. its been... 5 days. any idea if it will eventually open up or is it just dieing inside.

I am sure it will reopen soon enough. When disturbed, shipped and such, it may take a while for zoanthiids to acclimate. Do you know if you have similar conditions in your tank compared to the tank they came from. Lighting, flow, chemistry...?

Like Gene said, I wouldn't worry about it too much yet. Sometimes it takes awhile for them to open up. Trust me, you'll know if they're dying. They'll start to look like they're dissolving.
