Test kit
Hi all I have just purchased a new test kit aquarium Phamaceuticals any way I got it for cheap but the KH and Gh color comparison cards are missing I have the result sheet but no cards does any one have this kit and if so would it be possible to let me know what color I am looking for to use, ie blue/green etc I can then compare the number of drops against the result sheet

Hi Ninong the case says fresh and salt water,so maybe some tests for fresh and some for salt ?????????? that may explain the missing cards

the best way is to call the manufacturer and request a new collor chart.. they will mail you one and within a couple of days it should be at your house

Hey Dobbs,
I have been using Salifert kits.....just some info they say they are the best on the market as far as acuracy...so when its time you might look into this type of test kit. |

The test kit that I posted a picture of is a freshwater test kit according to the manufacturer's website:
GH & KH Test Kit Tests tap water and freshwater aquariums for general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH). Helps detect stress on fish caused by rapid pH shifts, which result from low KH levels and helps aquarists duplicate the natural habitat of their fish.
