Cool

Mine grow best under med light, med water flow (preferably with a wave source of some sort), regular feedings or a high pod content tank.

Mounted to something and not stuck in/on the substrate. Like many corals they don't like to be moved, once they have become accustomed to an location.

When I frag one, I ususally place a small drop of superglue into a hole, then stick the frag into it.

On the last bunch of frags that I just started, I again placed them into small holes in the rock (in this case some small homemade rock) and wedged some styrofoam into the hole as well to hold it in place. It seems to be working but they have only been in the rock for a month now, and I am reluctant to try and pull them out untill I see a bit more growth.

I think those gorgonians need a bit more than dt's judging by the size of their polyps.

I'd try feeding them something a bit bigger.

I have a photosynthetic gorg with quite large polyps. It eats the largest gp's and black worms, brine, etc.

I have a purple gorgonian and it is full of polyps and I just feed my tank DT's 3 times a week.

It had a small rock on the bottom so I just put it in the sand.
