About LinkBacksI bought sum of the algae u buy for filtrtion! they had bundles at petco for $2! so i figured i couldnt go wrong. its about softball balls size. wondering what its actully called and if there a special to take care of it?

my camera broke but its a dark green, looks like angel hair noodles, and about a softball size bundle
does that help at all?

Chaetomorpha sp. is what it sounds like you are describing.

I agree with the description sounding like chaeto. This algae likes strong lighting, and should be placed in an area of high flow; flow that will keep it tumbling like tumbleweeds.
