Question Capture juvenile cleaner shrimp

Hi,

I have a 53 gal reef with dsb and a harem of cleaner shrimp (they do not have the camel like hump, but do have the same coloration). I think I have 4 or 5. Put them in there 8 months ago. Hadn't seen them for a while, but the other day I noticed I whole bunch of little critters that look just like regular shrimp, only a lot smaller. Then today I saw one of the cleaner shrimp and it looks like there is a big greenish mass that's attached to the bottom of the tail and abdomen. I guess they, along with every other critter that I've put in there, have been breeding (could also explain the excellent polyp extension of the corals).

The thing is, I have a 150 gal tank that could use a major boost in critters (and everything else). I'm going to order 6 bags of Play sand from Reefland, and I want to seed it with whatever I have in the 53 gallon tank (I added the 99.00 starter pack from IPSF to the 53 gal. a while back).

Any suggestions on how to capture those little shrimp? They are blazing fast. They generally hide underneath the leathers. They hang around and run around in circles but as soon as I go in there they scatter.

Thanks,

Marcel

I would try and siphon them out, it might hurt them but a few should survive.
