Needing Photos Again

Hello again,

Sorry to have to ask this again, but one of the photo-contributors to ASIRA recently requested (for personal reasons) that all his photos be removed from the site.

So I'm again in need of photos for the following corals:

Merulinidae
Gorgonian
Millepora spp. (hydrocorals)
Lobophyllia/Symphyllia
Tubipora (pipe organ coral)
Porites
Turbinaria (pagoda cup coral)

Again, they don't even have to be National Geographic-worthy photos or anything... just anything that clearly shows what the corals tend to look like would be great.

Hahaha... those are great guys, but I should have clarified: not Acropora millipora... the hydrocoral (i.e. fire coral). ;)

LOL! They are plain old Yellow Polyps are the Green Star PLAGUE! (Polyps) ;)

Glad you answered that. I would have called them weeds.

They are WEEDS!!!! I have tried several times to get rid of them, even traded in the rocks that I thought they were all on, pound for pound.

Ok, well, I'm happy to report that most the photos have now been replaced (thanks to a few very generous hobbyists). The care sheets for Merulinidae and Millepora spp. (hydrocorals) have been taken down simply because very few people have those corals anyway.

The only two corals left for which we could still use another good photo or two are Porites and maybe Turbinaria (pagoda cup coral). Now I know a lot of you guys have those corals

And no worries if your corals have some dead skeleton showing. Honestly, sometimes those photos are even preferred!

I have a picture of yellow Porites in my gallery, but it sux! If you want it, you are certainly welcome to it. I can't add it to this thread though, cause I am on dial up, and it would take me an hour to find it.!
