May have done a little sleuth work.

Thought I had a Mantis in my 72 - so I moved the rock I thought he was in to my sump - no more 'missing fish'.

Just decided to set up an extra 25 as FOWLR in my office - put the rocks in from the 72 sump into the 25. Now I'm sitting in my office hearing the clicks - so - yep, I got a Mantis - I know which rock he's in so now it goes back to the sump.

Here's the question - can someone explain how Mantis do their damage. I had a few smaller fish (Bangaii, Green Chromis) get pretty beat up and die over the last couple of months (before I moved the rock) and couldnt figure it out.

Was the Mantis s**t, I mean shrimp, the culprit?
