Im a dad!

Ok so its not exactly reef related but my fresh water mollies have had babys, again i know its not exactly hard for them to do this infact i didnt even know about it untill i did my bi monthly water change:slap:.

But im so happy its the first time i have noticed it and i have two of the little buggers, they can eat suprisingly large bits of food aswell and there only about 0.5-1cm long bless um.

cheers james

You must be so proud! I wish it was that easy with salt water fish!

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him all weekend.

Re: Im a dad!

You can adapted them to salt water and use them as food for the reef. Is this mean of me?

Re: Im a dad!

In my first reef tanks, years ago, i used black Sailfin Mollies to cycle my tank. they are very hardy in saltwater, and multiply like crazy.
I don't do that now, knowing what a harsh environment a cycling tank can be to any fish.
