    fuge problem

hi all, can any one tell me happing here, when i start the fuge up (plug the pump in) the first 2 chambers are full and the 3rd is the pump section ,about 1/2 full, it will run like this forever or until i unplug it or power failure, then when the power comes back on the level in the pump section is never the same as it was before ,it will be higher or lower, i just cant seem to get this to stop i tried ajusting the ball valves till im blue in the face i just dont know what else to do so i cant trust the auto top off.

    Re: fuge problem

Hmm, that's a mystery to me...although I don't run an ATO...yet. I do know that my pump section is lower than the rest of my fuge. I built it that way so that I'm more aware of evap and top off accordingly. I would think that IF your fuge AND tank always contains the same amount of water...in the event of a power failure, the fuge would always fill to the same level. Hope someone else can chime in with a solution!!

    Hey Mike
    Welcome to Reefland!

You definately need to get this fixed b4 you get your auto-topoff working. Is there any chance you can take a picture or two of your fuge setup so we can see how it works....did you build it yourself or buy one already made. Let us know more about the baffles, size, etc.
