Sump/fuge lighting

would a 65w 50/50 coralife fluorecent be enough to keep macro algae growing well in my fuge?

Re: Sump/fuge lighting

i think it would be better to go with a 6500k or 10000k, as they would put out more useable light than a 50/50

Cheers james

P.S i use a 40w energy saver bulb designed for room lighting, seems to work fine.
