new to coral

Ok guys,

Im thinking of adding some coral. now my tank. ONly has fluro and thats all i can have.

now im very new to this, can i have coral. my LFS said i can have some low light ones? is this correct?

can someone tell me or direct me to some reading about how to have them and care for them?

Sure you can keep some low light corals such as mushrooms and some zoanthids. You could also consider keeping some of the non-photosynthetic additions, such as Tubastrea sp.. The thing about a coral like this is it will require daily or every other day feedings by hand.

ok thanks.....

now i have read about feeding, but i would prefer to hear the people on this forum's advice as they have always been right so far.

how do you feed, what do i feed? any tips tricks?

On the feeding part, try an old turkey baster, one that your wife doesn't know you have. You usually target feed the particular coral by just spraying the food around it. You might have to turn off your flow to do this, so the coral can get the maximum amount of food that it needs.
I have heard that mysis is a good food to try, somebody else might have an opinion also, I hope!!!

Mysis or enriched brine would bother work great being fed as Charlie recommends.
