I have a 100gal tank thats mostly softies and a few sps. Its been up over 2 years. I have an Iwaki wmd40rlxt return pump (split into 2 returns). I also have 1 rio 800 powerhead and 1 small otto powerhead. I was thinking of ordering the wavemaster pro wave maker and 3 maxijet 900 powerheads as my b-day present. All my corals are doing awsome thouogh without one. My other idea was a kent ro/di hi-s water system. I however already get ro/di water at the lfs and it works out to be CHEAP! and there are no problems getting it. WHAT SHOULD I DO???????????? Wave maker or ro-di???????????
Thanks for your opinion!!!! Dennis |

I would get the wavemaker and MJ PH's. Take the rio out of your tank...to give you better peace of mind. I think you will like the wavemaker a lot and so will your corals especially since you already use RO/DI water from your LFS. Happy early BDay!!!!!! Good luck

Unless you have a way to test for all the bad things in fresh water I would get an RO\DI unit. I would bet your LFS doesn't change their cartridges and membranes as often as they should.
