    Nano catfish

I was thinking of using this nano tank as a refugium for my 50gal. I would like to drill the bottom of it. Any of you know it these are tempered glass?? there is no markings on it, and the nano website doesn't say anything about them being tempered. Is there any other way to tell if it is?
And yes, i'll remove the cat before any drilling begins

Well the drilling was successfull. A Dremel, diamond bit, water, and a alot of patience. The drain is only 3/4" so the flow though tank will probably have to be cut back a bit.

Here is the 50 main tank, don't know how to get the flash to work on this camera, I'll try to get a better picture tomorrow.

This tank has been up and running a little more than 3 years. Got the flash to work on my camera , but I'm not the best at photography . Here are a few pictures I took today.

    Re: Nano catfish

Drilled the intake today, installed a squid, and water tested it. Flow is pretty good for only being a Rio 2100 for my sump pump at a tank hight of 4' and the intake line at 10' (which will be shortened to length once I finalize on a spot next to the 50 gal tank).

Next I'll have to decide what kind of macroalgae to grow in it. I have never had a refugium before, so if any of you have any suggestions please let me know.
