setup feedback

Hi all,

Well i had some time at work so i completed a drawing of my setup (including the new refugium i am building in my sump.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

please ask any questions if my drawing is average.

I would get rid of the bioballs however... its way to difficult. If they present a problem i will have to start from scratch. new sump

Re: setup feedback

I don't understand why you don't think you could just remove the bio balls (and piece of eggcrate that they sit on), replace the cover and spray arm assembly with a filter sock (see holder below) and move the skimmer over to that side of the sump.

Re: setup feedback

i can remove the bio balls however i would not gain anything. The seperater between the two cambers (camber 1 with Bio balls and Camber 2 with pumps) is glass and not enought room inside to drill or cut it out, so it would be easier to just make a new one from acrylic.

still wondering what you think of my plan?
