Limpet? on Crab

I just found a small Limpet on my large hermit crab

its only about maybe 13mm or so.
and thecrab is a good 1½-2in

should i try to get Limpet off it,or is it ok on it?

This isn't one that I am familiar with. I'll move your post into the Reef Aquariums Forum (from the Saltwater (Fish-Only) Aquariums Forum) in hopes that someone may have experience or knowledge with invertebrates diseases, conditions, and parasites.

I would move the crab into a hospital tank and make the decision to hold it there until the decision is made.
