How about adding a tank raises Queen Conch http://www.premiumaquatics.com/ usually has them. I didn't dub mine the "Saltwater Lawn Mower" for nothing. IMO

I got mine to disappear by two different things basically. One was more than recommended number of snails. And the other being cutting down on the number of hours of light.

What do you do about it if you are in the process of curing rock? I have 2 snails that came with the rock, but did not want to add anything until I'm all through the curing/cycling process. It is primarily on 1 rock. There seemed to be some on it when it came in, though has increased since then (2 weeks). It is no longer than 1/2" at this point. I tested for phosphates and found they were 1.0, though my RO/DI water is 0. The only use of tap water is through rinsing the skimmer cup out and scrubbing it. I dry it with a paper towel before i replace it. Any ideas about where the phospates are coming from and how to manage the bright green stuff? The temp is 81-84, lights on for 6 hours, 4 PH's going all the time. Thanks!
