    Just an update

Hi all. Wow I miss this place I have to remind myself to stop more often. I get so into the local boards, and forget about the originals...sigh

Not too much to report. Aside from work, etc, I have finally been able to breed Amphiprion bicinctus (Red Sea Two Band clowns) on December 2006. I always liked those clownfishes, and especially from photographs from the Red Sea in National Geographic magazines. I am still trying to locate a nice pair of black variant A. ocellaris, for a new tank I will set up..which hopefully will be SPS.

Miss you guys, and hope to be around more.

    Best,
    Ilham

Great job Elmo, good to see ya here. Those little guys sure are neat!!!!

Kevin, are those the clowns I got from you, the A. polymnus? If so, they are one the best adds that I have ever done, they are just neat.

    Re: Just an update

THanks for the compliments guys. They're just silly animals.

Kevin, it looks like ORA may have stopped producing these for awhile..although I'm not a 100% sure..

I am guessing the ones you have are CB/TR from Europe, or Australia? Or WC?

I'm looking for full banding, with black mouths. My girlfriend really like the way they're all black with the white stripes.

Elmo, could I have you save a pair of your tank bred ocellaris for me. I am going to be redoing my 300 later this year, and I really think a one of your tank bred pairs would be a fine addition, don't you??
Keep up the good work my friend!!

Hi Charlie! Of course. I will save a pair for you.

Kevin, how big are the ones you get in? TMC? or Aus CB?

    Re: Just an update

I've done about only 5 batches of the Bicinctus so far, each with about 20-40.

THe first batch, I only had 14 survive. They're not one of the easiest for sure. Lots die after metamorphosis to fish.

Great Job! You're keeping more alive than what would survive in the wild!

    Hi Ilham,
The ocellaris pictured are from TMC in England but they haven't been available lately. I'm getting them from Australia now. They are about 2" long.
