Haha... I have two. One is 3 to 4in, the other is 1 to 2in. I'm honestly not sure I have enough algae to sustain both (especially the huge one). If you lived next door I'd be happy to let you have that one.

Thanks for the link, Sara. I may contact the seller and request a smaller than 3-4 inches chiton.
Given that they grow very slowly and live long lifes I hope I can keep it going for a while before it outgrows my tank.Kind regards,

in the UK a few of the big LFS run a thing with algie eating sea hears when its eat all the algie in ur tank take it back to the LFS and the next person that needs it can burrow it kind of like "rent a grazer"I'm honestly not sure I have enough algae to sustain both (especially the huge one).

These guys also eat calcareous algaes like corralline on top of every other algae known to man.
