Hi Ratkilla
Welcome to Reefland! I would say that with the tang in there he needs as much room as possible to roam free (most will tell you that tangs dont do well unless in a 100gal+) So it depends on how big the tang is and if you plan on leaving the tang in there w/out an Upgraded bigger tank If the tang is fairly small and you plan on getting a bigger tank or have other plans for the tang as it gets BIGGER then I would say you would be ok with 2 of the clowns....Im not sure though.....I cant remember how big the False clowns get.....so that is a factor too HTH

Hey KILLA.
I think a tang won't do well. I too have a 55, and was very tempted to keep a yellow tang. Like SCUBA, unless you plan on upgrading for the tang later on. But Tangs are hard to catch, heheh. Anyways, if you want clowns, I BELIEVE you should get 2 of the same clown. Like 2 percs, 2 tomato. You can't mix them, or they will fight eachother. If you get 2 of the same at a small size, they will become a pair. |
