I just got back from a LFS, they sadly had a large Moorish Idol in a 10gal tank for sale. This guy's family looked much happier in Hawaii. Were do stores get fish like this? Do they not know that they will not do well in a Family room?

Well, the PetCo that I went to had an Emperator Angel full adult at around 5.5", maybe more in a 40 gallon long, with 3 triggers, and some tangs. Also, the tank height was only like a foot deep. Felt bad for the angel stuck in there.

Don't even get me started on PetCo. IMHO people who buy aquarium goods from them are making HUGE mistakes. I swear that they must use fresh water in all their tanks or SOMETHING. Every fish I have ever purchased from them has died within weeks. I will NEVER purchase from them again.

I can recall a sad LFS experience that I had a few weeks ago...A guy came in that had a brand new set up 75gal tank (I think it was) and immediately bought about 10-15 various reef fishes! Contrary to my attempted persuasions, he purchased the fish anyhow....Gary
