green hair algae
hi guys.. im having alittle bit of a problem w green hair algae... its starting to cover some of my live rock... ive got a bunch of snails and crabs...any suggestions to rid my tank of this stuff would b greatly appreciated......

You need a beefy skimmer and a good clean RO/DI....and large water changes.........and blast your rock out with a powerhead or a baster everyday for a while. You may need to lighten your bioload somewhat. You also need a refugium and depending on how much you feed you may need to cut back. That's pretty general without knowing about your system but still covers most of the bases.

It's all about excessive nutrients. Can you tell us more about your system? Age, equipment, inhabitants.
