So it should be higher up in the tank with good water flow?
If you just got it, I would leave it where it is at right now, and let it acclimate to your lighting scheme. After a week or so, you can start moving it up in your tank, and see how it reacts.

I've had it for a while. Its never seemed to grow bigger. I'm going to move it tonight.
Possibly a Sinularia sp.?
