I just bought 2 Percula Clown Fish and 2 Bubble Tip Anemone today. How long will it take to bond them? Is there a chance that they wont bond at all? Please Help

With that combination (Percs/BTA) I would have acclimated them together in a bucket, and they likely would have been hosting by the time you put them in the tank. I would try this method with percs and a hodoni, though.

There is a chance that they will never accept the BTA as a host. Give them some timeto see what happens, and after they become comfortable in the tank you can use your hands to slowly corral them near/into the anemone. Dont chase them, but slowly corral/persuede them in the proper direction.

    Re: Anemone

My perc never went to my bta. Instead, it went and let a hammer coral be its host. I was pretty happy as i didn't want the BTA anyways. It feeds the hammer coral also. You cant even see him most of the time as it is in the coral 24/7

    Re: Anemone

thanks. Another question now. My BTA decided to attach himself to the very bottom UNDER some of my LR. He's mostly open but part of his center (around the mouth area) look dead. He wouldn't go kill himself would he? How am I supposed to feed him now? I have cooked Krill, Raw Brine, and raw Mysis Shrimp. Any idea which one he's like? Or something different?

Update: URGENT: My anenome got sucked into my filter while i was at work. Only a small portion though, maybe 5-8 tips. Is he going to be ok?
