I agree 100%. Your tank, and you as a hobbyist made the most incredible progress since the time you joined, Chuck.

As far as images, all you need is a fairly sturdy tripod and you are set.

Guys I truly do appreciate the kind words. As I've stated before I owe this website a huge thanks for helping me get to where I'm at. This system has only been set up around 7 months and is my pride and joy. Your

means a lot.

I'd love to have a good Digital SLR and a macro lens. Some of my favorite corals just can't be photographed well with my camera.

Thanks Rocky and everyone else. The acro in the picture...I believe it to be Acropora yongei more commonly known as a Green Slimer. I got it a few months ago as a 1/4" unattached frag. I glued it to that rock and it has been encrusting nicely as well as holding color. I'm now starting to see some attempts to branch out.

Yes, I do believe it is the green slimer. I had pretty large colony of it a while ago and after giving it away I missed it.

I ended up getting a small frag that took about 6 month to encrust and finally is growing like mad.
I also like your green mille, reminds me of one that I used to have some time ago. Once it encrusts it really takes off.

Once that yongei gets going, you should have an everlasting supply of store credit!!!!! I finally had to give my colony away, it had outgrown it's little home!!! Plus the fact that everybody in a 50 mile radius had a colony

First pic second post...I have always thought this was an acan of some sort but don't know for sure. I got it a long time ago in South Carolina when I went to that talk given by Anthony Calfo. There was a frag swap and I got this as a tiny half of a polyp. I'm not sure what it is and it doesn't grow that fast compared to my other acans and I spot feed them all the same.

The color in that pic doesn't do it justice. It's lined with yellow dots and they really stand out against the pink and red.
