Scopas has outgrown the tank...

My scopas has outgrown my tank within less than a year. I'm a bit surprised at how fast tangs can grow; especially when water conditions are ideal. I know he's getting stressed out b/c he darts around the tank and stares at me when I approach waiting for food. Fish definitely eat more with age. I caught mine munching on my blue mystery polyps the other day. That's bad.

Scopas are by far my favorite tang. However our Powder Blue runs a close second.

reefland,

Powder Blues are gorgeous! I wouldn't mind having one (if they weren't so delicate). I love my scopas too but I think it's time for him to move on. Next week I think I may be looking for a new home for him. I wouldn't mind keeping him but unfortunately, my corals cost way more; especially my mystery polyps.

Art,

How big is your Scopas now? I too have one but it really haven't outgrown my 75g yet. Granted I got it when it was really small but I have since 04 and it;s no larger than 3". It;s fat and all that but not very long.
