    Great Reefer Man,

I threatened divorce if my wife ever tried to get between me and my reef keeping and motorcycle hobbies ;)

My wife and I share our passion for this hobby so that is not a problem. However, if it ever started to cause problems the tanks would be taken down the same day. My marriage is my number one priority.

Andrew-- that makes me feel so good when people whole heartedly and without embarressment admit that their relationship comes first. Marriage is a number one priority. Fish, reef keeping, hobbies, etc. are fun, but the human being to whom we have pledged to spend the rest of our life with should always come first.

I for one find it touching that there are people who put the care of marine organisms, especially sessile polyps, ahead of their family commitments. These polyps really depend upon us for everything including light and water and zooplankton. My wife and kids will grow up and leave, or just leave, eventually, one wy or the other, but the polyps keep growing and spreading, especially the anthelia. I wanted to name my daughter anthelia, but my wife wouldn't let me, the b*tch.
