About LinkBacksI have a small red starfish (the inexpensive one). What is the name of it? Can I keep 2 in a 40 gal tank?

I believe you are refering to the Fromia milleporella. As long as you have sufficient algae on your LR for them they will be fine. If not you will need to suppliment thier diet with marine algae and some meaty bits of food.
