Uh... No. You can get away with few water changes, but you need to stay on top of the Ca and Alk levels, they demand excessive lighting, and I say a HUGE Protein Skimmer.

I need hardy corals because I dont do water changes.....and havent in a very long time....any suggestions on easy to keep corals?

Mike is right about the branching digitata, even I couldn't kill that!!! A. yongei is also pretty stupid proof, I couldn't kill that either.

That be the one!!!! I started mine under PC's, before I put the 300 up. it darn near outgrew the 80. I was making money on it even then.

Totally agree w/Shane here, however im hooked on SPS and consider the real estate to be worth more....I bet dr's tank supports a varied diversity of microfauna though because of the algae growth. It appears to be like a glorified refugium almost....And I can stare @ a refugium longer than a display if its a nice fuge! I would enjoy this tank alot more in person I bet but not in pics like this.....of course if you took some macros of your macro that might be a different story
