Im just curious how many of you guys are complete liars and say that this is NOT addictive and that us other ppl just cant control themselves? Seriously its a comprimise for me...better than drinking atleast ;;

I discovered Reefland like 2 weeks ago and I probably check it 2 or 3 times a day for new info/posts...nope, not addicted what so ever!

Thinking about selling of some stuff in my house so I can get extra money to buy my lighting faster...noppppe, not addicted in the least.

If I had a wife & kids, I'd be trying to sell them off to get a ton of live rock and live sand....as I said earlier....I don't have a problem.

My problem is somewhat more serious than I ever could have imagined. At first the fish drew me to them. Then the corals became an even bigger issue. I'm now studying their internal structures and doing histological work with some of them. I also became addicted to DIY and equipment and the forums. I admit that I have a problem but am un willing to seek treatment. My family and friends support my addiction so I don't think I will ever be able to stop. I've even spread it to quite a few others lately. I am here because the forums satisfy my cravings when I am not near the systems I have running. Wish me luck.

Just a small problem here but wife kinda keeps me in check...

My addiction was spurred by the girlfriend buying me my first tank 4 years ago that was supposed to be a small 25g freshwater tank. That then turned into a planted tank with Co2 injection and daily fertilizer supplements. Now I am turning my attentions to my new 90g. The girlfriend constantly says she fights for my attention over the tanks but I tell her it could always be worse at least its not another woman.
