Id please and can I stop the receding??

Hello everyone. I have not been on here posting in a LONG time, but I have a question..
I have had this piece about 3 weeks now. I have 2 - 250w MH with XM10K's and 2 - 110w Actinic VHO over my 100g tank. I have checked water and everything checks out normal. I have not noticed any recession with any other pieces. I had it placed middle ways up in the tank, but now I have moved it lower to see if it matters. I am wondering if that edge on the right got scraped on something and that is causing it. Any suggestions on anything I could do, or would it be best to just leave it alone and see what happens. Also, what is it exactly? I was told the name, but bought several other frags that day and have forgotten.

    Thanks
    Joe

I believe it is an Echinopora sp. I keep a few of them and they are extremely hardy for me. I would actually like to have a piece of that one if you can get it healthy and grown out. Nice color. Mine prefer pretty direct light and medium flow. They seem to do best on ledges in the aquascape at about the midline under T5s. You might try an iodine dip if it keeps receeding. I've had some corals get injured in a variety of ways and it never ceases to amaze me how they bounce back in the proper conditions. Keep your water top notch.

Here is one of the two that I recently acquired. The second one was a small frag I've had for a few years and it grew into the third one. ....Well it's on my laptop and I'll post it for you in a bit.

What is to the left of it? Looks as though it is getting stung.

Here's mine. This one is about 8" t0 9" across.

This one is pink with bright pink mouths.
