zoos/ricordeas
i know this might sound crazy, but how do you control/stop zoos and ricordea?
i started with one small ricordea, and now i seem to have at least 20 scattered throughout the tank, and i started out with one small rock of green zoos and they have been growing like crazy taking up a lot of space. should i be worried about them killing off my other corals such as sps?

Re: zoos/ricordeas
That is the main reason I weeded out all my zoas a few years back. I either gave them away or fed them to my chocolate chip star in the 29g.
Now I have the zoa bug once again. This time though, I place them where I can control them. You will most likely have to use tweezers to remove them. You might get lucky and peel off a bunch all at once or have to pull them one or two at a time. It is a weeding out process that takes time. Some can kill off SPS's by stinging them or by simply choking them out. |
