New fish = New pics

went to spokane and picked up a couple fish shrimp and other inverts..
I believe I have a pink birdsnest(could be wrong) also a blue tort(need to mount) purpl rim monti and another unidentified coral..
tangs:
naso
blue hippo
tennant
Anthias:
2 bartletts
3 lyretails
mandarine dragonet
2 blue tuxedo urchins

i also picked up a couple nice frags of zooanthids.......and then ..

Darn nice fish and corals bro! Totally cool.

I'm just amazed how everyone's sand is a nice white or gold color (basically like it's supposed to look).

I'm just praying that when I do my 90 the sand stays the correct color. The agromite/crushed coral in my 46 looks like crap. All kinds of green and reddish brown algae all over the place...yuck.

Anyway, sorry to derail the post....

reef25yo....I believe that your birdsnest is actually a. M. digitata. The tips and polyps say digi to me. Nice stuff!

ahhh ,,... your super smart .... it is an m.digitata ,,,... It tips are flourescent pink and body orange/brown and it was a colony before trying to move it .. now its a bunch of frags. thx for the i.d.

i'll have another i.d for you in a sec.

ok I picked this up as a "freebee" because it was in pooooor shape. He said it used to have a nice green/yellow color... I got the polyps out just working on color.... it had some cyano on it so I blew all that off cleaned it up and here it sits.

its about 8" in a branched diameter.



this is the M.Digitata original colony


and the after move main frag


behind it is a monti cap I'm also hoping to nurse as it was laying in the sand with cyano on it. i was told it was a green w/purple rim
