Smile New tank pics

These are some pics of my new set up the stand and canopy were custom made locally the tank is a 110 gal oceanic rr with dual 1" overflows the lighting will be installed this week and will consist of 1 ice cap 660 on the 3 vho bulbs and a dual 250 watt pfo mh ballast with 2 10'000 kelvin german mh bulbs and 2 spider reflectors the sump was made by me and is a 30 gallon tank with 2 holes drilled for the skimmer pump and the return pump the water jug on top of the sump is my auto top off it is just gravity fed through a kent float valve the skimmer is a etss reef devil 3 driven by a little giant #2 the return pump is a little giant #4 i will install two 3/4" sea swirls this week i also ordered 300 lbs of fiji live rock and 150 lbs of fiji live sand which will arrive this friday i will post some more pics once the rock and sand have been added

Welcome to Reefland!

You have a nice tank coming along .....Keep us posted on the progression Just curious though....300lbs of LR for a 110 gallon tank?? Isnt that a tad overkill on your LR?

Looks good. I must be the only person around here who does plumbing while the tank is clearing. Everyone here seems to set it all up empty and then starts filling and testing. You look like you are doing it right the first time with this setup, wish you the best.
