I was running a few tests today and noticed my salinity is a bit low... I want to raise it a bit w/o doing a water change (just did one w/ RODI fresh water)... can i add a 1/2 cup of salt (instant ocean) to my nightly gallon kalk drip for the next night or 2?
help!! ps salinity is down to 1.022 - want to get it back up to about 1.024-1.025 |

Mix up a batch of saltwater and use it to top off the tank instead of fresh water until you get the SG where you want it.......

Can i mix it in with my nightly kalk/top off drip? I usually mix my kalk with freshwater for my nightly drip... will it be ok to mix it with salt water in the meantime?
