Oh no, a new piece of equipment to add. Gene your gonna make me invest in a phasphate reactor now. No algae on the glass, I'm sold.

You still get algae on the glass just not as much of it.

I used to need to use magnet cleaner every day, sometimes twice a day if I fed on a high side. Now I need to wipe the front glass maybe once a week or so.
Besides, those reactors are very cheap, cheaper than the media they hold inside.![]()
Kind regards,
Gene.

Well after 2 - 24 gallon W/C's things are looking better! And I decided to bring the Clarki back to the LFSbefore he started beating on the ponies.
Just a question, when do I change the Rowaphos in the reactor? 1 week, maybe 2. Just wondering since my phosphates were probably very high!
I noticed the corals look much happier now too!
I'll try to post a few pics tomorrow...

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him all weekend.
Hi Louise,
Glad to hear things are looking up.![]()
You did the right thing by taking the Clark;s anemonefish back, as they grow they turn really mean. I know from first hand experience...![]()
You can leave Rowa in the reactor for a month at least I think. Make sure it is not tumbling too much in the reactor as it will break up faster that way. I never knew rust could be that usefull...![]()
Kind regards,
Gene.
