help trying to save this sps
I just adopted this sps coral from my neighbor who just seperated from her husband. It is bleaching on one side and it has a little algae on it. this sps was sitting in a neglected tanlk for about a month. I dont have any experience with sps, only lps. what type of sps is this? Can it be repaired? and if it can be repaired, how can I do it?
Thanks Sean |

Re: help trying to save this sps
Picture is too blurry to try to id. If you see specific branches that have tissue receeding, cut those branches off. Otherwise there isn't a lot you can do but provide it optimum conditions and hope for the best.

Re: help trying to save this sps
It appears to be Pocillapora Damicornis to me...but not sure. Doesnt look damaged to me, just make sure you have good lighting and flow and keep up your Ca & Alk levels
