Something is wrong, please help me figure this out.

I got home tonight and I thought a snail was out of its shell, I have two big mexican turbo snails and two smaller snails. I seen what looked like a snail without a shell. Then I seen another and then noticed over 40 small ones all over the place. What is this? What should I do?

Sounds like Stomatella snails. Go HERE and scroll down to the third pic.

Is that what they look like?

Great to have! They should multiply as long as your water params stay good. It's one sign of a stable system when they do.

Cool. Its just so wierd I havent seen them and all of sudden there is over 40 of those things. Some are actually big. There is alot of small ones. They were gone all day and now when I got home they are back. Looks like even more now. But during the day, there is no sign of them.

Thanks for the replies. Makes me feel alot better.

They do not like the lights and come out at night mostly.
