I guess I am going to have to order some of those nice frags from MAC as I have heard nothing but good things about the SPS and shipping.

I'm glad to hear the good news - because i have (by coincidence) and order in for 6 small maxima's/squamosa's and a xenia with Dr. Mac as we speak - should get it friday morning early considering the holiday... i'll let you guys know how it goes!!

Dr mac was really, really friendly and helpful when i called him with questions (and to place my order)... if all goes well i'll definitely do business w/ him again!

ps tendar - sorry about your clams - how were they when you got them? you've got me scared since i have 6 coming from dr mac!!

Are the frags already glues on to a small rock or do you have to glue them your self?

Blue

I paid for 7 frags.
I got 2 small colonies and 7 med-large frags
Basically you get ALOT for your money...So dont worry about that!

and one of the frag should have been more cuz it was an Rare SPS but MAC waz MAC'in

FWIW I paid $164 plus shipping....I think it was like $40-$45

Dr. Mac can do either/or....I opted to have the frags Unmounted cuz I wanted them in a specific place! And its cheaper on shipping with the unmounted frags

The clams came in good looking and the one is still doing good. Im not really sure why the 3 died but I think it might have been snails for one and a bristle worm for a second one and the third is unkown.
I dont think it was the clams health that caused thier dimis but more of preditory criters in the tank. I wouldnt worry about the ones you get I think it was just my tank.

Sorry to hear about your loss - but that's also a bit of good news... I'll let you know tomorrow how they look - dr mac called me today and told me that he included an extra maxima FREE to offset the shipping cost - this guy seems too good to be true so far
