other than a submergeable PH why don't you consider a Gemini. I have 2 on my 180. They put out 960gph. I have them on timers so they rotate each other.

I really appreciate the ideas and thanks. On the ph front, I really don't consider Rio the worst pumps. They do need to be maintained and IME have about as good of performance as the others I have tried. Many people swear against these, but I have had good luck with them. So to each their own.
I would actually really like to mount a pair of gemini ph's in each of the front corners aimed back into the rockwork. I may do it, but for now a few maxijets will to the trick.
Awesome tank!!, can i borrow your wife so she can aquascape mine...just kidding
. i may just sell some of my rock off to get my tank to look a little less cluttered
Doug, that is what I did. Put the gemini on each front corner and directed them toward the center.
I also feel that the submer. PH also add heat to the water where the gemini mount above the water.
You may just want to check into at a later date. I found that they are hard to get as I have found only one supplier.

You people have to stop posting this stuff because it's killing me that my new tank hasn't come in yet. Your tank looks awesome and I love the aquascaping. It doesn't look like a brick wall. Very nice
