Mine came from you Doc and I have nowhere near the quality of pictures that you do. They are doing great though and I can't wait to grow out some large colonies. Perhaps you could post Poison Mystique and I'm a little hazy but I believe the third one is Sativa . Sativa and Poison have grown into at least 10 polyps from four or five. Mystique still looks great but hasn't grown much at all. I need to move it as I believe it is in slightly too much flow. I noticed that target feeding it the other night. Hungry little guys though they love the cyclop eeze!

Angel eyes has been my favorite for a long time. I got a frag from someone on frags.org that got the original from you. Unfortunately I lost it somewhere in my rock during one of the moves. Maybe one day it will pop up somewhere unexpected. If not I plan on getting another so keep me in mind.

Whenever I get my 90 up and stable, I plan on getting some Micros from you. I think they are totally awesome. Love the coloration and such. That's what I think is the best thing!

If you want color the micros are a good route to go. From what I have experienced they are very hearty and hungry. They require T5 or halide lighting, moderate flow, and will grow extremely fast if target fed bi-weekly. Doc may have some other comments but that's just my experience. I've had a couple of people comment on the size of the actual polyps versus pictures. These are small polyps in person but when you see a large colony it is truly impressive.

Ya, I've usually seen the photos and thought they looked huge. Then someone took a shot from far away and I was like WTHeck???

But when you see a nice sized colony of them, it's truly spectacular. I'd like to get a few colonies going. I'd love to see those types of colors in my tank when I get it going.

I'm hoping that four 48" overdriven T-5's (IC660) will be enough (24" depth - not withstanding the sand bed depth) to grow them properly.

I have mine under T5 with no problem and keep them fairly low in the system. Average polyp size on some of the morphs is <1/4".

Yes Micromussa are small LOL They are perfect for Nanos or people who just like to collect.. They do not show up very well in Large tanks BUT when the colonies get larger THE colors make them hard to miss.
