if your ordering a pistol shrimp from premium aquatics, then just get a goby that they say will pair up, I find look very highly on them.

As far as I know the Tiger Pistol Shrimp....But I do believe any pistol shrimp will mate with a Yellow watchman gobie.....I have heard sleeper gobies will mate sometimes with them....but to be on the safe side I think a Yellow watchman gobie and a Tiger pistol shrimp is the best combination. And I would agree that the Premium Aquatics is the best way to go.....let them match em up for ya!

premium aquatics is my bible! Im worried about the claws on that b@$Terd tiger pistol shrimp, looks like it could do damage! I was thinking about getting a lawn mower blenny and the goby/shrimp... this week
I think I am going to put off the arrow frogs until Xmas (so I can butter up my day into letting me use a 30 gal ) mark |

I bought a tiger pistol and yellow watchman, from different tanks at the lfs. They bonded overnight and have been inseperable ever since. Dunno if this is typical or not.
Don't worry about the claws. I saw my pistol pinch the holy crap out of a serpent star once (the star deserved it, btw). I once saw the pistol run out of his burrow, snap 4 blue legs away from a chunk of food and then run back with it to his burrow. But they're mostly harmless.Whatever you do, make sure your LR is sitting on the tank bottom, and not on sand. He will dig under it. In fact, that's the first place he will go. Good luck! --Colin |

I have the LR up on PVC "stilts" so no need to worry. I will get a pair but not now, I think I need a lawnmower blenny first!
