I've been getting more and more of these lately, what are they and should I do something about them?

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him all weekend.

It's hard to say, I have quite a few so I don't know if they are new ones and the old ones die off, or if they are the same ones moving around slightly,![]()
I know that I lost a really nice plate coral recently and when I lifted it out there were several of these wormy things under it. Losing that coral really ticked me off so that's why I want to know what they are. Was it coincidence or did those little buggers kill it?

It appears to be a cirratulid polychaete of some sort.

i actualy saw one of these on the move, when i first saw it i thought it was a worm being attacked by the little "hairs" that i'd seen comming out of all my live rock. upon further inspection i noticed they were comming out of the worm. odd little bugger.
i have at least 30 of these here and there in my tank.
