I got a delivery of 50 Nassarius and 50 Cerith snails yesterday. Man, those N-snails are cool:fast and zoomed straight for the food on the bottom.
Right after I put them in, however, my 6-line went straight for them. I quickly turned off all lights for the night to give the snails time to bury. I'm almost afraid to go and look this am. Anybody keep this combo with success? |

most wrasses are very very hard on clean up crews such as snails or hermits.

I have had a six line wrasse in my reef for over a year now and hasnt bothered any of my snail or hermits (even though I am removing my hermits next week) other than small snails which is why I got him to help protect my clams.

Thanks for the replies.
As an update: I had quite a few empty shells in the am. Mr. 6-line now seems to content in just swooping down to look. Hopefully I'll be abe to keep a few. |
