Exclamation ID please...

Hi there,
i found something within the live rocks in my aquarium. later during the night, i used a flash light to see it was there in almost all the live rocks i have in my aquarium. can some one ID this worm pls. and also help me in getting this off my aquarium.

PS: sorry for the poor picture quality.

It appears to be a bristle worm, and for the most part they are fairly harmless and will keep your aquarium clean. I wouldnt worry too much about them

if you decide you want them gone i've heard six line cleaner wrasses work well. My coral banded shrimp did the trick for me though.

You can try to get rid of them, but chance are that your tank and sump are full of them.

They are beneficial as scubadude says, so i would not worry to much about them.

Mark makes an excellent point here. More often than not people have them as soon as they introduce live rock into their aquariums.

Sashi seems to have a harmless scavenging type polychaete worm that would be a benefit to have in the aquarium, like scubadude said. So, throw it back in the tank, Sashi.
