Coral Question
I have a 68 gal semi reef setup.
I have some coral of basically every type. All are doing great so no worries there. Even the difficult to keep Candy Cane (Caulastrea echinulata) coral is doing great and has tripled or quadrupled in size of the past 3 years. I have one question though. My Tunze nano-stream pump was sucking air and one of the polyps had a bit too much of the bubbles and it bleached out. One of the stems came back after a few eeks but the other is simply a skeleton/crusty nub. What can I do to help it out? Or should I just trim it off/leave it alone. It has been like this for six months so I doubt it is going to come back to life. Ideas appreciated. |
