I have a Millennium 2000 filter, and it has A venturi air valve which mixes oxygen with filtered water to improve gas exchange.
Now how much of an effect does this have on everything living in the tank? Thanks! Last edited by NanoReefer1; 05-16-2008 at 12:22 AM. |

Re: Any point in the venturi effect?
The reason I see for the air injection is to give oxygen to the bacteria that is suppose to house in the plate provided. I have found this not to be a proper filter for most ALL aquarium keeping.

Re: Any point in the venturi effect?
Can it be used to help the bacteria in the tank? Or the life in the tank? Minus the plate?
